WSNA is a member-driven organization.
The Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA) is a dynamic, democratic organization through which professional nurses combine and utilize resources to achieve their goals.
Membership in WSNA allows you to be a part of an active, powerful force for change in your workplace. WSNA local units and the District Nurses Associations provide leadership and professional development opportunities at the workplace and in your local community. And your local unit membership gives you the right to vote on contracts, be a member of the negotiating team, run for office, and participate in WSNA Committees and Councils.
All WSNA members in good standing, whether or not you are represented for collective bargaining by WSNA, have the right to run for and/or be appointed to the WSNA Board of Directors, WSNA Councils and Committees and as a WSNA delegate to the ANA House of Delegates. Additionally, all WSNA local unit members have the right to run for the WSNA Cabinet on Economic and General Welfare (CE&GW), and the CE&GW Nominations /Search Committee.
