Labor Relations

As the largest and oldest union for registered nurses in Washington State, WSNA has the knowledge, experience, power, and authority to make a real difference in the workplace. In fact, we are the only union in the state dedicated exclusively to registered nurses.

Membership in WSNA allows you to be a part of an active, powerful force for change in your workplace. Your membership gives you the right to vote on contracts, be a member of the negotiation team, run for office, and participate in WSNA Committees and Councils. The benefits of collective bargaining are great, and more members mean greater power for nurses and increased accountability of management.

Your voice will be heard through your local unit, and through your elected leaders. Our multi-focused approach to addressing issues includes legislative and regulatory platforms, education, and contract negotiations.
