Welcome to the new WSNA Labor Studies School.
This new educational program is in response to our members’ need and desire for
additional education, support and resources to assist them in their roles in WSNA
Local Units.
The first WSNA Labor Studies School (2008-2009) will begin in September 2008 and
end in July 2009. Four tracks will be offered, each consisting of five classes.
Each class session will be 2-3 hours long, occurring every two weeks, (five times
over a span of ten weeks). Tracks need not be taken in order, nor are you required
to take all tracks.
All tracks will be offered in both the Seattle / Tacoma area and in Spokane.
Classes and materials are totally free. If travel is required for you to
get to a class, Local Unit funds should be used to cover the cost.
Certificates will be awarded at the completion of each track.
To register for a class, call or e-mail Kathryn Macleod at 1-800-231-8482 or
kmacleod@wsna.org.
You must register in advance to attend.
