New York Times 'Tribute to Nurses'

The New York Times is recognizing the invaluable contributions of America’s nurses with their 6th annual “Tribute to Nurses.” They are asking people to nominate a nurse or a nurse educator that has had an impact on their life. WSNA and ANA encourage all nurses to take part in this tribute to the health care providers the Times describes as “America’s most dedicated and indispensable professionals.”

Choose a student, colleague or mentor you believe exemplifies the compassion and commitment that are the hallmarks of the nursing profession.

Four winners, three practicing nurses and one nurse educator, will be chosen from the group of candidates to be featured in a special section of the November 30th New York Times Magazine.

The deadline for submissions is August 1st.

Rules, regulation and nomination forms can be found here: http://nytjobmarketonline.com/tribute_to_nurses/
