Khayr Abdi, a patient survivor of multidrug-resistant TB, shares his story with healthcare professionals to lessen the physical and psychological side effects of future patients undergoing TB treatment.
Learn ways of communicating with TB patients that diminish the stigma of the disease to promote successful completion of treatment and identify challenges and successes of a TB survivor’s experience with healthcare professionals to better inform future patient interactions.
TB ECHO® (Extension for Community Healthcare Outcomes) is a virtual learning community of health professionals that meet weekly, by video conference, to get consultation on their TB-related patients and learn about best practice standards of care.
