Stand up in Olympia for nurses.
The Washington State Legislature’s 2023 Session begins on Monday, January 9. The Legislature is expected to reconvene in Olympia in person, while also maintaining online opportunities for public engagement.
Join us for WSNA's 2023 Lobby Day in Olympia on Thursday, Feb. 2 starting at 8:30 a.m., and help bring a voice for nurses to the state capitol.
Nurses continue to battle their way through a worldwide pandemic, but not without a cost. As the rest of the world starts to put the pandemic behind them, nurses continue to deal with the lasting impacts of COVID-19. This legislative session, WSNA will continue to advocate for funding for safe staffing and increased funding for the nurse education pipeline.
WSNA will continue to advocate for nurses, nursing students, and the patients we serve.
Your strong voices and subject matter expertise can make an impact in Olympia. By attending Lobby Day, you will learn more about WSNA priorities in front of the legislature and how to talk with your legisÂlaÂtors about change that must be made in order to protect nurses and patient safety. Your voice is critical.
