Your team is here for you!

Your WSNA team and Nurse Representative are in communication REGULARLY with HR and leadership because your safety is our primary concern. Please note, the NATIONAL DISASTER declaration gives the employer the flexible ability to make decisions. We are doing our best to address the concerns rapidly coming in and responding promptly. We need to keep each other informed and safe so we can continue to care for the people who desperately need us.

If you experience COVID-19 trouble in your work environment, you feel you have been exposed, or you are sent home on quarantine, we also want to hear from you. We are working to track all instances. Please email all issues and inquiries to Nurse Representative Jaclyn Perkins BSN, RN at jperkins@wsna.org.

We are working daily to answer your questions and respond as promptly as we can. We have compiled a list of common inquiries into one simple location.

Building Up WSNA “Local Unit Liaisons

Please consider volunteering to be a communication liaison between the WSNA Nurse Rep, the Officers and your co-workers. This will help us dispense the information quickly, and keep nurses informed. Local Unit Liaisons are the eyes and ears for the WSNA and work to help the WSNA Nurse Rep and the Local Unit Officers connect with the staff nurses and bridge communication. If you want to participate as a Local Unit Liaison, please email Nurse Representative Jaclyn Perkins, BSN, RN, today!

COVID-19 MOU (Memorandum of Understanding)

The Washington State Nurses Association recently proposed an MOU to Management to protect nurses in this time of crisis. We will continue to work to get this passed as we feel it’s the right thing to do to protect our nurses
