Become a Trained Faciliator to Help Adults Quit Smoking

December 14, 2015 to December 15, 2015

Participants are trained to lead the American Lung Association’s Freedom From Smoking® program. This is an eight-week adult smoking cessation program, whichuses proven methods to ensure success for smokers who want to quit. Those who successfully complete the two-day training will be certified by the American Lung Association as Freedom from Smoking Facilitators.

The facilitator training helps participants understand the quitting process. Through lectures and group activities, participants learn the concepts, philosophy, materials and techniques used in our eight-week Freedom From Smoking® program.

Attendance is required both days:

  • December 14, 2015 (10am-4pm) ─ Participants will learn the program
  • December 15, 2015 (8am-11:30am) ─ Participants will facilitate the program
