Wage Increases to take effect July 3!

Thank you to all who came out to vote! WSNA Skyline nurses overwhelmingly approved the proposed increases in wages by management. The finalized agreement can be seen by using the link below

The new Wage scale will be effective July 3, 2022, replacing the 2% increase in the current collective bargaining agreement; a 2% increase will also be implemented on July 1, 2023. This vote also extended the current collective bargaining agreement to July 1, 2024.

We heard many of your concerns that this wage change agreement is a nice first step, but it is not a single solution to recruiting and retaining nurses. We had two new members join at the vote and will continue to be reaching out to all nurses asking for you to join WSNA and show solidarity in working with management to find additional solutions. Please share the link below and invite new nurses to join.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to your local unit officers. Nurse Representative Mara Kieval is out on medical leave, but we have Nurse Representative Bret Percival bpercival@wsna.org available in her place until she returns.
