  • Where: Main entrance of the University of Washington Medical Center, 1959 NE Pacific St
  • Why: The University of Washington has NOT been bargaining in good faith!
That’s what the Public Employment Relations Commission said in a Preliminary Finding issued Sept. 9.
Registered Nurses at the UWMC have been in contract negotiations for four months and are now in mediation. To give our patients the excellent care they deserve, we need safe staffing levels, competitive wages and union security.

    Safe staffing saves lives.
To a business, staffing is a line-item cost. To your nurse, staffing is much bigger than that. It’s about caring for our patients. It’s about caring for you and your loved ones.
