RICHLAND, Wash. - Kadlec nurses spent all day Tuesday voting on whether or not to strike.

The voting will continue on to tomorrow. From there, the votes will be counted and the decision will be released. From there, the matter will get sent up to the Washington State Nurses Association cabinet, who will decide when to strike, how long to strike for, etc.

For over a year, the nurses have been negotiating with the hospital for a new contract. The two sides have had 15 unsuccessful bargaining meetings, including five with a mediator.
