Seattle Children’s nurses hold picket for safe conditions, better pay amid contract talks
About this coverage
The Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA) represents more than 2,100 nurses at Children’s. The WSNA said the hospital has hired the firm Morgan Lewis to oversee the labor talks, which they call one of the most prominent anti-union law firms in the country.
“This is an internationally known anti-union busting attorney firm,” Hoogestraat said. “It's focused on degrading our contract. They are trying to take away multiple things."
