Virginia Mason nurses reach tentative agreement for 3‑year contract

SEATTLE — Nurses at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health reached a tentative agreement Tuesday night on a new three-year deal with management, according to the Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA).
A contract ratification vote will be held on Nov. 20, the union said. The tentative agreement was reached after 19 bargaining sessions, an informational picket and a complaint filed with the Washington Department of Labor and Industries (L&I) over workplace safety, the union added.
