Bargaining Session #3 Update: News from your Negotiating Team!

On Tuesday January 9 we completed day three of full bargaining with Confluence. Special thanks to our observers Waikele Frantz from 3rd floor and Christina Durtschi from ER.

In day three of negotiations, we presented a wage proposal that would ensure Mares nurses have guaranteed wage increases that match or exceed the wages at Central campus. We also introduced language defining many of the structures and protections Mares nurses have asked for, including guaranteed rest time between shifts and paid stand by time by for mandatory call.

We have added an additional bargaining date in February and scheduled new dates through March.
