Newsletter January 30, 2026

We want to thank all the nurses that took time to fill out our survey about the Central and Mares Campus nurses becoming one unified bargaining unit. During this process we have been working hard to address many of your questions. In this week’s Newsletter we will answer a couple more as well as share the results of our survey!

Q: What parts of Central's contract would apply to Mares nurses if we agreed to an MOU that included Mares-specific terms?

Q: Don't Mares nurses want different holiday and weekend work rules from the ones we use at Central?

Q: If we ratify an agreement that has Mares-specific terms, will our vacation approval process change at Central?

Words from our peers

In our Newsletter you’ll also hear from a Labor & Delivery nurse, Megan Thrift who has worked at both campuses!
