News You Can Use: Support the bargaining team!

Your bargaining team remains hard at work in both prep and at the bargaining table. On January 16, the team met with Confluence for the fourth session. That update was posted to your WSNA Mares Local unit page. One thing was made abundantly clear during that session. Confluence believes the nurses at Mares should have the same contract language as Central nurses. We do not agree. The National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) didn’t either. They declared the Mares nurses their own unit after the May 17 hearing last year. Our next bargaining session is this Tuesday February 6. Join us as an observer and hear from Management yourself. Reach out to Jenny Galassi, 206-707-2948 for time and location details!
