Bargaining update

Dear Bargaining Unit Members,

As your representatives, we met with a mediator today, April 29. to continue negotiations with the employer. The session focused primarily on crafting a comprehensive proposal that will allow us to continue making progress on our key priorities, including wages, benefits, and the rules around the use of PTO. We are still fighting for several outstanding proposals that we believe are critical to improving our working conditions and patient care, but these require further discussion and engagement from the administration.

We remain steadfast in advocating for our rights and the needs of our patients. Our next meeting is scheduled for Friday, May 2, when we expect a response to our proposal and will continue to push for progress. Thank you for your ongoing support and solidarity.

In unity,
Your bargaining team,
Ryan Housden – ED
Jason Kindle – OPS
Jennifer Reynolds – CCU
Kim Scott – CCU
Kala Winter – Informatics
Michelle Phillips - OPS
