WSNA PAC makes endorsements in the 2025 special election

The 2025 election poses a special election year for some Washington State Legislative seats. While elections for state legislative races (State House and State Senate) occur in the even-numbered years (2022, 2024, etc.), many seats were vacated due to the retirements of state legislators, legislators elected to higher office, and appointments made by Governor Bob Ferguson. This spurred appointments to fill the vacant seats. The person appointed will hold the seat until his or her successor is elected at the next general or special election in November. For the 2025 election, nine special elections have been called to fill vacancies in the Washington State Legislature. You can read more about vacancies in the Washington State Constitution, Article II, Section 15.
WSNA PAC endorsements for the 2025 special election are now complete.
