Contract bargaining update

On Oct. 8, your bargaining team once again engaged in contract mediation discussions with hospital management and a state government mediator. Your team came prepared to advocate for a fair contract, however management was less than prepared. As a result, we came to no new agreements although progress was made on the big issues.

Now is the time to push!

Oct. 14 is our next bargaining session with management. Your bargaining team still needs your help in sending the message to management that their dedicated RNs deserve a fair contract!

If you haven’t already, please sign our petition and share with your friends, family and community members! Post it to social media and distribute far and wide! We need to let hospital management know that the community stands with nurses! Members of the negotiation team have physical copies if you prefer to physically sign. We plan on delivering the petitions soon. If you would like to be a part of the delivery to the CEO, please let the WSNA rep know!

Car, window and yard signs are still available, please contact a member of the negotiation team to get one!

Also, please remember to use the WSNA Facebook Profile Frame and wear your WSNA badge holders on negotiation days to show that you stand with your fellow RNs in support of a FAIR CONTRACT!

WSNA continues to fight for safe staffing! If you are contacted by a Department of Health investigator please contact the WSNA Rep right away!
