Big News on Health Benefits!

On Wednesday, PeaceHealth informed WSNA of significant and much needed improvements to our health benefits beginning in 2026, and it is because of the power of nurses standing together.

Anesthesiologists, radiologists, and ED physicians providing services at PeaceHealth facilities will now be covered at the Tier One rate across all healthcare plans. This is not a gift from management; it is a direct result of the pressure applied by us! Winning a mid-contract improvement like this is a major achievement and a clear demonstration of our strength when we stand in solidarity.

 Additional improvements include:

  • A dedicated PeaceHealth care navigation team at Moda
  • Customizable provider search tools to make finding care in your area easier

At the same time, PeaceHealth has indicated there will be a 5% increase in biweekly premiums (up to $10.91) and a 1% increase in dental and vision plans.

This win proves the importance of our ongoing advocacy. Together, we have the power to secure improvements during the life of the contract and to push even further at the bargaining table.

For questions about your benefits, please reach out to the employer through the appropriate channels.
