Officer Nominations are now OPEN!
Are you interested in representing our nurses at Pullman Regional for all things union related? All of our nurse leader positions are open for nomination through April 21, 2026. Our local officers help set the vision for our local unit, help educate our membership on their rights, enforce the contract, bargain the next contract, and much much more! Nominate yourself and a colleague, all training provided by WSNA. Commitments include a monthly check in with our WSNA Nurse Representative, quarterly meetings with nursing leadership to address nurse concerns, and other opportunities as they arise.
Nurses must be a due paying member in good standing to hold office. Follow this link to complete your nomination TODAY!
Flex Pool Discussions
Leadership at Pullman Regional has notified our union that they would like to enter discussion and bargain about creating a float/flex pool. While they previously mentioned this before contract bargaining to mitigate leaves of absence, we were surprised when they made no proposals during our contract bargaining.
WSNA represents all nurses at Pullman for wages, hours, and working conditions and so creation of a flex pool is a mandatory subject of bargaining. In the past our union offered short term contract language that would enable part-time and per diem nurses to work full-time schedules for lump sum amounts of money to help cover leaves of absence. That was ultimately rejected by the Employer.
We don’t know what a flex pool means for our nurses at Pullman Regional and we have a Conference Committee meeting scheduled April 30 to begin discussions with the Employer. Nurses with concerns or questions should email their nurse representative.
