Tacoma General nurses refusing overtime, extra shifts for one week

Published by KOMO on 11/10/16 (Source)

TACOMA, Wash. - Nurses at Tacoma General say they're one step away from a strike.

On Thursday they started a week of refusing voluntary overtime or to take extra shifts. The hospital says it'll take care of its patients through this job action. The nurses said the hospital should take better care of 'them.'

"We have nurses that cry daily just because they feel they're stretched too thin," said registered nurse Karen Stone.
