Advancing Men in Nursing 40th Annual Conference Sept. 24 – 26

Advancing Men in Nursing will be holding their 40th Annual Conference in Minneapolis Sept. 24-26. The theme of this year's conference is "Men Leading Interprofessional Practice: We're All in This Together."

The program intends to support discussions around implementation of several recommendations of the Institute of Medicine report, including promoting diversity and supporting more men in nursing. Speakers include:

  • Kathy Chappell, PhD, RN, Vice President Accreditation and Research, American Nurses Credentialing Center
  • Daniel Pesut, PhD, RN, PMHCNS-BC, FAAN, Professor of Nursing; Director Katharine J. Densford International Center for Nursing Leadership, University of Minnesota School of Nursing
  • Barbara Brandt, PhD, University of Minnesota - Associate Vice President for Education, Academic Health Center, University of Minnesota National Overview of Interprofessional Practice and Education
