The Cowlitz County Health Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time Public Health Nurse I-II for the Nurse Family Partnership Program. The role of this Public Health Nurse is to provide comprehensive nursing services to women and their families eligible for the NFP Program. NFP Public Health Nurses are responsible for maintaining the highest standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to the NFP model, and to policies, procedures, guidelines and standards of NFP and of the department. This position provides population-based public health nursing services, to individuals, communities and systems, largely in unsupervised settings and provides individual and group health promotion and disease prevention activities when appropriate
