More than 700 nurses and students gathered in Olympia for WSNA's annual Nurse Legislative Day. Morning sessions brought attendees up to speed on the nursing's priority issues for the 2016 legislative session, and featured keynote speaker Governor Jay Inslee. Then proceedings moved to the Legislative Building at the Capitol, where everyone had a chance to put things in practice during scheduled meetings with legislators from their district, and to attend one of several afternoon hearings for various legislative committees.
