Organizers of the Womxn’s March in Seattle sent the following call for volunteers, which we are sharing with our King and Pierce county WSNA members for your information. Please follow up with the Womxn’s March Safety Committee directly if you want to help.

If you are a medical professional and plan on attending the Womxn's March this Saturday, January 21, we need you! If you are available to help, please send an e-mail to womxnsmarchseattle.safety@gmail.com with a few sentence on your training, and your cell number. We can then send out a text message blast to alert all medical persons in the march should an incident or injury occur, with the location. If you are near, you can respond. You should also stop by the safety tent and say hello when you come to the march! We do hope no one falls and cracks a tail bone, but it would make the march organizers feel much more assured, by having more people to cover the safety of 25 thousand marchers. We thank you for stepping up, to assure that the march goes well and is fun and productive, and as safe as we can make it.

In solidarity, The Womxn's March Safety team
