WSNA, along with our professional partners at the Inland Empire Nurses Association, and ARNPs United of Washington State, have taken action to express our deep disappointment with the recent vote in favor of the AHCA cast by Representative McMorris Rodgers. In an action demonstrating our solidarity not only within the nursing community but also with other labor, professional and community partners opposed to the AHCA, a letter was sent to Representative McMorris Rogers yesterday.

As professionals we are obligated to stand in defense of our patients. This letter explains our position and why the need to act was imperative. We invite all registered nurses, regardless of your personal political affiliation, to share your expertise and make your voices heard.
