Nurses for America, a grassroots group with diverse specialties and expertise, is calling for people to support their statement against the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

The Department of Health and Human Services oversees 13 critical divisions, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services, Indian Health Services, and Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.

“Allowing Robert Kennedy Jr., a vaccine skeptic with no background or education in health, science, or medicine, to oversee our nation’s health system in addition to controlling our drugs, research, health information, and payment systems, is dangerous to our patients and the public,” Nurses for America said in a statement. “We deserve a leader we can trust to safeguard our nation’s health with science and accurate information.”

See nursesforamerica.net for more on the statement and how to sign on.
