Nurses make the difference

Happy Nurses Week from WSNA
less than 1 minute to read

As we celebrate National Nurses Week, we at WSNA would like to recognize the outstanding work you do every day. Without you there would be no healthcare. You’re there for your patients and have been standing up for yourself. Because, as the saying goes, nurses’ working conditions are patients’ healing conditions.

We know you continue to face staffing challenges, and you’re standing up for conditions that will recruit and retain nurses. We also know that workplace violence continues to be an insidious problem that that threatens your safety, and we’re working at all levels to address the issue. Through it all, you continue to show up for your patients, at bargaining tables, and in Olympia demanding what you need for yourself and your patients.

We are inspired by your efforts and express our sincere gratitude for your service. We are proud to represent and support such a dedicated and skilled group of professionals.

Gov. Inslee has again proclaimed May 6-12 Nurses Week in Washington state. We join with our fellow residents in appreciating the commitment to patients you demonstrate each and every day.
