Kent nurse honored for her work

Judy Huntington, a Kent resident, was awarded the annual Shining Star Award by the King County Nurses Association at its annual Meeting & Spring Banquet on May 11 (during National Nurses Week).

Huntington is executive director of the Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA), a position she assumed in January 1999 following nearly 10 years on the executive staff of the American Nurses Association.
