Nurses picket in Vancouver over staffing, wages, sick time

VANCOUVER, Wash. (KATU) — Hundreds of nurses in Vancouver picketed Thursday outside PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.

The Washington State Nurses Association says nurses and the hospital have been negotiating over several issues, including staffing, wages, and sick time.

After 13 bargaining sessions, the union says they haven't reached a deal.
