SEATTLE — The Washington State Nurses Association (WSNA) held candles and shared stories Tuesday to send a message about nurses' grief surrounding the violence they reportedly face at work and their wanting to provide better patient care.

Nurses at Seattle Children’s Hospital are demanding help from management amid a staffing crisis they argue has led to shortcomings in patient care and a boost in workplace violence.
