Seattle King County nurses deserve respect!
Posted Aug 8, 2025
The Seattle King County community deserves to know what is at stake and how to support the nurses in this fight for a strong, fair contract. It’s gratifying to hear that Seattle King County loves public health nurses. Many people ask how to support us. Let’s give the public the chance to show that support😊
Share the public petition with friends, family, and neighbors. Please share the public petition link or QR code on personal social media. Invite them to help spread this message:

Solidarity placards recommended use:
* Take a selfie or group pic with coworkers, family, friends (even furry ones) with placards displayed. Send to Nurse Rep Tara Barnes tbarnes@wsna.org and feel free to share on personal social media. Placards will continue to be delivered to several work sites over the upcoming days.
* In a rear car window for all to see when parked.
For the WSNA nurses, keep submitting staffing concern/assignment despite objection (ADO)s online every shift it applies. We will review the high volume that has come in over the past few months on a new date, August 12 at the Jail Health labor management committee. It is a great way to push for the improvements you and patients deserve for safe care and nursing practice https://www.wsna.org/union/ado
