December Bargaining Sessions

SNOHD Bargaining Session 2

Your bargaining team has been hard at work meeting with the County to negotiate your new contract. Sue Starr and Susan Babcock, along with your WSNA nurse rep and attorney, have had two 3-hour sessions with the employer. The first session was the employer's presentation of their proposal, and the second was our proposal presentation. Taking the contract from the brief interim agreement to a full Collective Bargaining Agreement will take time so we have three more half- and full-day sessions planned in January and early February next year. Your contract will expire on the 31st of December this year. The County will legally respect the terms of the expired contract for up to 12 months, though we anticipate bargaining will be completed early in the new year. Please let your bargaining team or nurse rep know if you have any questions or concerns regarding the bargaining process.
