Negotiation update - day one

Today we met with management for our first negotiation session.

For negotiations we are using an IBB or interest based bargaining. IBB is collaborative, where we agree on a common interest and issues and then work together to create solutions that work for both groups.

We also set 7 sessions moving forward with the next one on 3/31 the day our contract expires. We set and agreed on ground rules for negotiations, and a further understanding of the rules and procedures of IBB.

We are looking forward to negotiations on 3/31 where we will be discussing the issues you care about.

Please wear your "I support my negotiation team" stickers on 3/31.

Stay tuned to your email and the Facebook group for more information.

Thank your negotiating team members: Sara Bergenholtz, Nicholas Jackson, Karla Bourgeois, Stefanie Gates, Amy Yarbrough, Paul Stamilio, Blaine Wuertz, and Paul Molenaar, for their hard work and dedication.
