Two Great Opportunities to get Union Training

As we gear up for contract negotiations in 2027, our success depends on having a strong union representative structure.

We need you to be a unit representative/union steward to help keep our bargaining unit informed and involved.

Even if you are not an elected union officer, there's so much you can learn from this free training.

For more information about being a unit representative, contact one of your WSNA officers.    EvergreenHealth - WSNA

June 29 6-8 pm Investigations Training

This is your opportunity to get the scoop on how to represent a colleague in an investigation and learn how to become a WSNA Grievance Officer.  We will be covering:

  • What to expect in an investigatory meeting and how to answer questions.
  • How to coach a colleague and what your role is as an advocate for your fellow RN.
  • What are your Weingarten Rights?
  • What are your rights when requesting representation and who that person might be?
  • When is a grievance warranted? Including exploring the grievance process from start to finish.

WSNA Representative Ed Zercher along with Tristan Twohig, RN, from Spokane will be taking on this training so be sure to attend and bring your questions!
