WSNA Update
Posted Nov 4, 2025
The Fresenius Dialysis Technicians of UFCW 3000 had a powerful informational picket last Wednesday in front of the South Tacoma Clinic. Thanks to the WSNA nurses who were able to come out and show your support. We stand in solidarity with the Technicians who have only been offered a 2% pay increase and no language on safe staffing. They chanted, "Their Two Percent Won't Pay The Rent!" "What do We Want? Safe Staffing! When Do We Want It? NOW!" Our struggle as RNs getting improved contract language is also very real. We need all of your support.
We have contract negotiations again on Wednesday, November 5.
What can you do?
- Sticker up every day at work. Wear your WSNA stickers, badge reels, badge buddies and buttons. You can find them on your WSNA bulletin board. If you have a WSNA T-shirt, wear it at work.
- Show Solidarity with the Technicians and support each other until we ALL get a Fair Contract.
- Fill out ADOs (Assignment Despite Objection forms) for unsafe staffing.
- If you feel intimidated from management about your union support, please notify your Nurse Representative immediately. That won't be tolerated.
