Negotiations Update, March 9, 2023

Sip and chat tonight: negotiations are heating up, come talk about it with us!

Today was a busy day of negotiations, where break nurses and staffing ratios were rejected again by hospital leadership. Come hear about negotiations today, ask questions, and chat with your bargaining team. Contact a member of the team or your nurse rep for the meeting link.

Come see it for yourself: Come observe negotiations!

Our next session is tomorrow at Multicare University, and we still have spots for observers. If you’re able to come for part or all of the session, text organizer Grace at 206-553-9794. We’ll start at 9:30 – bring a coworker and your WSNA blue!

Have you signed our petition to Multicare CEO?

Another reminder to sign our petition to Multicare CEO Bill Robertson – we need EVERYONE on board with this to get the contract we deserve. If you haven’t signed, ask your unit rep, a bargaining team member, or fill out this form online:

If you see a sheet on your bulletin board, please make sure it gets submitted to either the cell number or email at the bottom of the page!

We’ll have a bigger update tomorrow after another full day of negotiations: keep an eye out! Tomorrow is blue Friday - wear your buttons, stickers, blue shirts, and anything else that shows Multicare that Good Samaritan nurses are united for patient safety, our coworkers, and our community.

In solidarity, your bargaining team:
Mindy Thornton, Jared Richardson, Aaron Bradley, Raeli Korzeniecki, Dawn Morrell, Anne Landen, Eren Dao, Ashley Eubanks, Atalia Lapkin, Erin Butler, and Paul Grantham

Questions/Issues, contact Janet Stewart, WSNA Nurse Representative jstewart@wsna.org.

Need shirts, buttons, stickers, or want to know how to get involved: contact Grace LaMonte, WSNA Organizer glamonte@wsna.org.
