Bargaining Update – Day 3
Posted Mar 16, 2026
Friday was a disappointing day at the bargaining table.
Your bargaining team has showed up on Friday ready to bargain a contract that improves the workplace. The employer came to the table proposing 3 percent wage increases each year along with takeaways such as cutting the existing evening shift differential for 12 hour day nurses, decreasing severance pay for nurses with of 15+ years of experience and dissolving guaranteed staffing plan additional resources under the staffing MOU. Management literally stated that Good Samaritan RNs don’t deserve the same contractual benefits that TG and Auburn have. Their response was lacking!
We are disappointed with the lack of collaboration shown so far from management.
We are launching a petition this week to show management that Good Sam Nurses are united and ready to take further action! Please sign to show management that you support your bargaining team and the fight for a fair contract. You can find the petition here on our local unit homepage. Return signed petitions to GSHaction@wsna.org.
Contact Grace LaMonte at Glamonte@wsna.org or a member of the bargaining team to sign and help circulate!
Our Union is Growing - Shoutout to Oncology Triage Nurses!
On Friday, they came to our bargaining session and demanded that MultiCare voluntarily recognize them as a part of the union! These nurses work out of the Puyallup Cancer Center, providing telehealth nursing triage to improve access and outcomes to care.
If you know a nurse who's not in our Good Sam union, or doesn't have a union where they work, reach out to organize@wsna.org to get in touch with us.

Negotiations are Open for Observers!
Thank you to all the nurses who attended our first negotiations session with observers. It’s a powerful show of solidarity and commitment to a fair contract.

March 23 and March 31 are our next bargaining dates
We encourage members to come see for themselves what bargaining is like. To observe bargaining email WSNA organizer Grace LaMonte at Glamonte@wsna.org to RSVP.

We also have “I Support My Bargaining Team" buttons and stickers available to be worn on negotiation days. Please contact a member of the bargaining team or WSNA Organizer Grace LaMonte for a T-Shirt or button/sticker. Send us your pictures so that we can share on social media and be sure to tag us on Instagram.
If you are told to take off stickers, buttons, or T-Shirts, ask if discipline could result if you don’t take off the item. If the supervisor says yes, take off the item and please file an ADO.
