Contract negotiations are delayed

Given the recent concerns over COVID-19 and the directives around social distancing, your negotiation team has reached an agreement with MultiCare to extend the current contract until May 31, 2020. We will be postponing all bargaining for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

Please know that your health and safety are our greatest concern. WSNA and your elected officers here at Good Samaritan Hospital values all that you are doing for our patients and community.

You are respected and appreciated!

While contract negotiations are delayed, WSNA continues to advocate for your safety. WSNA recently filed a complaint with the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) related to PPE and safety concerns. Please keep us updated with any concerns or questions you have.

If you have any questions or thoughts you would like to share, feel free to reach out to Travis Elmore, WSNA Nurse Representative at telmore@WSNA.org or 206-575-7979 ext 3117.
