Negotiation Survey

Your contract is expiring this year, so it’s time for the negotiation survey.  Please take the time to fill out the survey, this information is kept confidential at WSNA. Your officers and I would like to work to get the best contract possible and that starts with you. Please use the link below to take the survey:

Workplace Violence

I have heard many disturbing stories related to violence committed at the workplace. We have filed a grievance over this issue, but we need your stories to push management to take it as a real threat. If you have been the victim of workplace violence, here are the steps I need all the staff to follow:

  1. File an ADO
  2. File a police report.
    1. This is important as it opens other resources to victims, such as the crime victims’ fund.
  3. File an L&I claim.

We need you to all be upfront and honest about what is happening in your workplace. Your officers and I take this seriously and the only way we can push back is with your help.

ADO

If you have a concern or short staffing or anything else, please fill out an ADO. These are legally discoverable in court. These are also mandated to be discussed by the hospital staffing committee. I also receive a copy of the ADO, and without these forms, I don’t know if there is an issue.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to one of your local unit officers or nurse representative Stephenie Troftgruben (stroftgruben@wsna.org)
