Upcoming bargaining sessions January 21, 30 and 31

Correction from previous WSNA newsletter. The upcoming bargaining sessions will be January 21, 30 and 31 (not January 29). We need your voices there as we work to get this contract to the finish line.

You may join us between 09:00 to 09:45 in Conference Room A while we prepare to begin negotiating with Hospital management at 10:00 a.m.  Stay as long as you are able. Lunch will be provided. Let one of the officers or WSNA Nurse Rep know that you'd like to attend.

PTO donations - A great way to thank your bargaining team

The bargaining team has been volunteering their time to fight for a better contract. The hospital refuses to pay them for the hours they spend negotiating. If they want to be paid, they must use their own PTO. As we approach our ninth session, their PTO banks are getting low. Will you thoughtfully consider donating PTO to the team? Even 1 hour donated helps. Donated hours will be divided among the six bargaining team members.

The PTO donation form can be found on the document bar above or by using the link below.

Your bargaining team,
Ryan Housden – ED
Jason Kindle – OPS
Jennifer Reynolds – CCU
Kim Scott – CCU
Kala Winter – Informatics
Michelle Phillips - OPS
