Day 2 Bargaining Update

On Monday October 7, 2024 your bargaining team met with management for the second time. We started off the day listening to management responses to our opening non-economic proposal along with hearing management's asks as it relates to their non-economic requests.

Your bargaining team asked questions about the responses from hospital management. We were surprised to hear management proposing an increase in per diem work requirements from 2 to 3 days. We continue to hold our economic proposals for a future session.

Negotiating a new contract requires a lot of time and focus from the bargaining team. Our next negotiation session will be October 16, 2024. If you are interested in attending negotiations as a bargaining support team member, please use the link below or sign up with one of the bargaining team members. The bargaining team was happy to be joined by Maria Deditius for this session.

Your Bargaining Team,

Ryan Housden – ED
Jason Kindle – OPS
Jennifer Reynolds – CCU
Kim Scott – CCU
Kala Winter – Informatics
Michelle Phillips - OPS
