COMING! Workplace Violence Committee VOTE, Dec 14, 2023

With the new contract comes a newly bargained Workplace Violence Committee. The goal and scope of this committee is to develop a process and template for patient safety and a plan for patients or visitors who demonstrate or threaten violence. The Workplace Violence Committee will address violent and disruptive behaviors from patients, visitors, and others. The committee will meet monthly, or as mutually agreed, and will evaluate workplace violence trends, address concerns and complaints regarding workplace violence, assess current practices and make recommendations.

Several nurses have shown their interest in being on this committee and it’s time to vote for who you want to represent you!

When? December 14, 2023 from 1700 to 2100
Where? HEC 2 and 3

Must be a member in good standing to vote.
