COVID-19

  • If you become ill, follow the diagram illustrated by Caregiver Health
  • The HELSA ACT ensures that Healthcare workers can file for Workman’s Compensation. It is presumed that you became ill because of your workplace. Certainly, if it is a household or community exposure you may not file under HELSA. However, it is up L&I to determine eligibility. Not Kadlec. Not Sedgwick. Remember that you must file through Sedgwick, not directly to L&I
  • In January 2022, WSNA conducted a webinar titled "WA DOH COVID Recommendations: What they mean to the registered nurse." Watch the video and find resources referenced during the webinar here. https://www.wsna.org/nursing-practice/covid-19/webinar
