We are pleased to announce the contract bargaining team for the next contract.  Your contract expires December 31, 2026.  We are excited to get started fighting for a fair contract.  We have reviewed your responses from the pre-negotiations survey and see what your priorities are.  Please reach out to your bargaining team members with changes you'd like to see in the contract.

Staffing Complaint Forms

Fill out the electronic ADO (Assignment Despite Objection) form every time your staffing plan is out of compliance; when you feel staffing is inadequate or unsafe; why you miss breaks or don't have break coverage. When you use buddy breaks, a team member has essentially 2 assignments - their own plus their co-worker's assignment. When this happens, the staffing plan is out of compliance. Please don't hesitate to fill out the ADO. We are not able to help when we don't hear what the problems are. We review the ADOs at the monthly hospital staffing committee meeting and discuss ways to resolve the problems.

Benefits Open Enrollment is November 3-17

Benefits Open Enrollment is November 3-17. Be sure to enroll to ensure continued benefits coverage starting January 1, 2027.  Watch for communications from hospital leadership. If there are any major changes that you are concerned about, please inform your WSNA Nurse Rep Janet Stewart, [email protected].

Make your voice heard at the ballot box

Ballots were delivered last week. Voting in the general election is perhaps the single most important thing we can do as nurses to help improve our profession. Be sure to have a plan to vote no matter who you are voting for and take your ballot to a drop-off box.
