We have a Tentative Agreement on a contract!

On June 21, 2022, your contract negotiation team met with hospital management for our 7th negotiation session. It took 10 hours, but we finally got a tentative agreement that we can recommend. A detailed summary is forthcoming but here are some of the highlights:

  • 15% wage increase over the life of the contract.
    • 7% on ratification in 2022
    • 4% in 2023
    • 4% in 2024
    • When you take into consideration the step increases, nurses, depending on step, will receive overall wage increases between 15% to over 27% over the life the contract.
  • $1,000 Bonus for all Full Time and Part Time RN’s
  • $800 Bonus for all Full Time LPN’s
  • $500 Bonus for Part Time LPN’s
  • $400 Bonus for Casual Part Time RN’s
  • $1.75 Emergency Room premium
  • $1.75 Operating Room premium
  • Night shift premium increased to $4.50/hr
  • NEW $1/hr BSN premium
  • Agreement on process for picking up additional shifts is now memorialized in the contract
