Important update regarding PeaceHealth policies

WSNA has been made aware of several new policies that were recently issued by the employer. We have responded to Peace Health Corporate and individual Human Resources representatives.

  • COVID-19 Personal Travel Policy 5319.1.119
  • Safety Absolute Policy 900.2.153
  • Influenza Vaccination for Healthcare Providers 900.1.425
  • COVID-19 Time Off Bank Policy 5319.1.102

We are extremely disappointed that, again, leadership has chosen to implement policies without prior negotiation or discussion with your elected representatives. In response, we have:

a) Issued a demand to bargain;

b) Asked for immediate rescission of the safety absolute policy

c) Submitted requests for information and

d) Asked for immediate dates and times to meet to discuss.

We are very aware of the impact to each of you by these policies. We are waiting to hear back from management when they can meet with us to bargain these items. Please reach out to any of your local unit officers or your nurse representative if you have any questions, issues or concerns.
