Join your WSNA Negotiation Team for a virtual Sip n’ Chat on Labor Day

Join your WSNA team members to hear updates and have questions answered about how the staff nurses can participate to gain a strong, fair contract. Make no mistake, THE goal is to reach an agreement that your team can recommend to the voting membership, which includes our priority proposals. You may be wondering what is at stake and what will it take?

Q: What is at stake?

A: A contract that your team can recommend to the voting membership, which includes your priorities such as longevity steps and continued paid parking at KCCF…...to name just two. To preserve and grow the expertise of the King County nurses in all divisions and attract nurses to work in public health, our contract must reflect value and respect for our contributions. Our contract must help us live and thrive in the region we work.

Q: What is it going to take?

A: Achieving this requires most nurses participating in the action steps your team asks of each of you. The County needs to see that your team has the active support of ALL the nurses and the public. We will not return to the table until the County is ready to make substantial movement!

  1. Sign the internal WSNA petition if you have not signed yet. The County must see that ALL the staff nurses are represented by your WSNA team https://forms.office.com/r/kZ8GykEZKZ
  2. Keep sharing the public solidarity petition with more friends, family and neighbors in support of the King County public health nurses and send any solidarity placard pics to Nurse Rep Tara Barnes tbarnes@wsna.org  Here is the link https://forms.office.com/r/hd35QBFXj3
  3. Read all WSNA updates, here is a link to these on your WSNA webpage and contact info for your team members:
