We had a great rally, what is next in our fight for a fair contract?
Posted Oct 20, 2025
Contact a team member or the Nurse Rep to observe negotiations on October 24 for a partial or whole day at the Chinook building tbarnes@wsna.org
The WSNA nurses have key priorities remaining. The support of the community is with us. We are looking forward to our sixteenth negotiation session. Can’t observe that day? Wear your Public Health Nursing Strong WSNA T-shirt and show your union pride!
And then?
Join us in-person at our WSNA unity delegation on October 28 at 1:15 pm!
King County Council chambers at 516 Third Ave Rm 1200
We have provided the Council with our internal and public petition messages and show of support. We will speak to the significance of gaining a strong, fair contract for the WSNA nurses who make it possible for the County to deliver on the mission of public health. This occurs during the public comment period at the beginning of the meeting at 130 pm sharp. We have WSNA T-shirts if you still need one. Bring a WSNA nurse peer, family, friends!
As we return to the table, your survey priorities continue to guide the teams. Our focus is upon preserving the quality and experience of public health nurses across all divisions.
Here is the article and video featured in this month’s Washington Nurse.
